We have partnered with a few organizations in St. Petersburg, Florida to provide humanitarian aid while spreading the word about suicide prevention.
- We are hosting a “Walk-for-Life Against Suicides” in St. Petersburg, Florida at Campbell Park.
- We will occasionally be serving food and collecting clothes for the homeless.
We also partner with organizations overseas. Everything from providing funds for a widow’s home in Sierra Leone to conducting suicide prevention seminars in Kenya we plan to make a difference globally. Below is a mission trip to Kissumu and Nairobi, Kenya where we fed over 300 people with humanitarian efforts.
My six-year-old daughter spoke to us about our October trip to Kenya. She ran to her room and grabbed $5 from her piggy bank after hearing about our team going to the slums in Nairobi to feed and provide supplies for over 300 people.

THIS IS COMMUNITY CONNECTION IS GOOD GROUND.
MOMENTS Kenya is a partnership to bring Workshops to Nairobi & Kisumu, Kenya. Kenya's suicide rate has increased 58% in a decade & we believe we can help change this. In addition to music workshops with Andre Butler & Rev3aled Collective we held Suicide Awareness meetings with college students and medical professionals from Kisumu and Nairobi, Kenya. Our team was able to do two suicide interventions and forward forward these individuals to professional counseling. Your financial support is helping us provide humanitarian aid with Compassion International to impoverished areas of Nairobi. We plan to continue to visit and contribute to the poor and impoverished people of Kenya so your seed is needed. Each year a team of 10 people plan to travel, provide workshops, and provide various humanitarian efforts in Nairobi.
Each year $20,000 is needed to complete this assignment!
We are a 501(c)(3) org.
The suicide awareness seminar with college students was a success. One student in particular had made a decision to die by suicide and was brought to this briefing. After hearing our information and speaking to me one on one about his purpose… he had a total transformation and is currently doing fine. We were also able to feed 300 people including children from an at-risk kids academy. We heard the story of a poor single mother in Kisumu with 6 kids all sleeping on the floor in one room & decided to step into action. Your contribution provided the resources for furniture & clothes for the entire family. 5 more families received supplies like rice, oil, and literature in the slums of Nairobi. We plan to revisit Kenya every other year and partner with churches and Compassion International to bring hope to the impoverished slums in Nairobi.
The Children's Academy & Child Development Center at K.A.G. Umoja Church has 140 kids who are at risk, orphaned, or diagnosed with life threatening illness but are being taught by the local church. We have partnered with Compassion International there to bring hope. We were able to feed 300 people and provide supplies for five impoverished families. Observe the pictures above to see our suicide awareness workshop and other endeavors.
Pastor Andre Butler is a revolutionary. This trip was spearheaded with his music workshops but transformed into so much more. Below is the new MOMENTS album music that has brought healing to so many people on this trip to Kenya Download and enjoy!
The host organization for the Nairobi events is V.O.S.H. and K.A.G. Umoja Church. They both are large ministry with over 800 members and contacts in the health & education systems.
