What is The A.T.O. Event?

The purpose of THE A.T.O. EVENT is to stop many suicides among teenagers and young adults. We have a goal to launch student age conferences as suicide prevention events to end teen suicides & young adult suicides by sharing the love of Jesus Christ. We will accomplish this with interactive events, Christian themes on social media, around the world from 2024 and Beyond!

New Orleans Area Event in 2013

A.T.O. Events are Awesome!

In St Tammany Parrish there were 17 teen suicides in 5 years! THIS HAD TO STOP!! Our partners worked together and teen suicides completely stopped from December 2012 until Spring 2015. Our partners in Louisiana included Chili’s restaurant, Sam’s Club, New Orleans Zoo, Regal Movie Theater, Papa John’s Pizza, & more.

Testimonials!!

“In the military, you often see service members who are suffering from depression. Aside from yearly trainings, there is limited quality support available to those in need.  It has been vital in assisting me in being able to support my fellow sailors.”

Our next stops... TAMPA & MIAMI!

Target date: March 2024.

Since 2020 the national suicide average is 1 out of every 1,000 persons ages 15 to 24 years old. Since 2020 Florida's suicide rate among ages 15 to 24 years old has surpassed the national average at 5 suicides per every 1,000 young people.  The key to changing this trend is our state-wide marketing campaign surrounding this A.T.O. Event

Suicide in Japan has been considered honorable for centuries. From self sacrificing to Shinto gods to the kamikaze suicide pilots in World War II suicide is a cultural norm in Japan. From 2020 to 2022 the suicide rate in Japan has increased 17%. Unfortunately Aokigahara Forest ((known as suicide forest) near Tokyo is considered the number one location on the earth for suicides. We plan to execute an event in conjunction with the annual  B-Boy dance championships in Japan.

With 26 suicides per 100,000 people, South, Korea has the highest suicide mortality rate among Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) countries. We plan to take advantage of the K-pop culture to spread the word on suicide awareness and prevention.

The Golden Gate Bridge is considered the second most frequented suicide location in the world only behind Aokigahara Forest (known as suicide forest) near Tokyo. Similar to Japan, the Asian youth population has a high rate of suicide in this region.
